What Scout & Aerial Does

Scout & Aerial provides listing documentation, marketing media, property visuals, field support, measurement-related documentation, light site prep, tech help, and related real-estate-adjacent services.

Services are intended to support marketing, listing prep, documentation, and practical scheduling needs. They are not a home inspection, appraisal, land survey, engineering survey, legal opinion, tax opinion, or brokerage service through Scout & Aerial.

Booking-site estimates are working estimates. Site conditions, access, scope changes, weather, safety constraints, and unavailable information may change final pricing or deliverables.

Ordering and Scheduling

The booking page collects the job address or location, selected services, estimate details, customer contact information, notes, requested appointment time, and optional additional email contact.

When a booking is completed, Scout & Aerial receives the appointment and work details in the calendar event. The customer email and optional additional email may be added as Google Calendar guests so Google sends the event invitation.

Booking a time reserves the appointment window, but does not guarantee that every requested deliverable can be performed. Aerial work, site access, safety, weather, lighting, and legal restrictions still control what can happen on site.

Cancellations and rescheduling are generally no-charge when the on-site appointment has not already occurred. After arrival or work has begun, charges may apply for time, travel, completed work, or lost appointment capacity.

Travel and Field Work

Standard service travel is estimated from Whitsett, NC to the job location. Travel fees may appear as a separate line item and may be adjusted if the route, access point, or scope changes.

Lockbox and sign pickup/install is priced separately from standard travel. The service includes a $50 lockbox/sign service charge plus optimized round-trip route mileage at the current mileage rate. That route mileage is not subject to the same minimum-travel grace period used for ordinary service appointments.

Labor services have a $100 minimum and are billed at $100 per hour, with a $50 ladder charge when ladder work is needed. Examples include photo-ready cleaning, general labor, landscaping, leaf blowing, power washing, and similar small-scope work.

Aerial and Visual-Imaging Scope

Aerial services depend on weather, airspace, site conditions, safe launch/landing access, visual-line-of-sight requirements, and any applicable FAA, property, or local restrictions. Drone capture is never guaranteed until conditions are suitable on site.

Stitched Aerial Site Overview work is a visual-imaging product only. It is intended for property marketing, general site visualization, documentation, and presentation.

The delivered image is not a boundary survey, land survey, engineering survey, topographic survey, professional mapping service, or measurable geospatial deliverable. It does not establish or verify property lines, easements, acreage, elevations, dimensions, coordinates, distances, areas, volumes, or the position of improvements or other fixed objects.

Visible property-line graphics are approximate marketing illustrations based on client-provided information or publicly available records. They are not measurements and must not be relied upon to locate a boundary on the ground.

Measurements and Floor Plans

Home measurement and floor plan services are marketing measurements and listing documentation, not appraisal, survey, engineering, permitting, architectural, legal, or tax products.

Where applicable, measurements are prepared in an ANSI Z765-friendly manner for listing support. Unusual access, obstructions, nonstandard layouts, property condition, or client-supplied information may affect final deliverables.

Clients and agents remain responsible for verifying any figures needed for legal, lending, tax, permitting, construction, insurance, or other high-stakes purposes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I order from the standalone booking page?

Yes. The booking page is the main ordering path. It builds the estimate, collects appointment details, and creates the calendar event with the selected work and contact information.

Will the estimate always match the final invoice?

Usually it should be close, but it is not guaranteed. Access problems, changed scope, site conditions, route changes, incorrect address data, safety limits, or client changes can alter the final invoice.

What if vacant land has no street address?

Use the address bar to get the map close, then place a pin on the land if needed. The pin coordinates can be used for distance and location context. If the area cannot be identified, choose the manual review option and Scout & Aerial will reach out for clarification.

What is the difference between high-altitude and low-altitude stitched coverage?

High-altitude coverage is for broad property, land, and site overviews and is priced by acre. Low-altitude coverage is for detailed surface visuals, such as roofs or paved areas, and is priced by square-foot coverage blocks because it requires more image density and processing.

Does Scout & Aerial provide surveys, maps, or geospatial files?

No. Publicly orderable aerial visual services are non-measurable visual-imaging products. Professional surveying, measurable geospatial deliverables, certified accuracy, topographic information, coordinates, contours, elevations, or construction-related data require an appropriately licensed professional.

Can occupied homes be photographed or measured?

Yes, when access is available and rooms are photo-ready or accessible enough for the requested work. Occupants, pets, clutter, locked rooms, safety concerns, and restricted access can limit what can be completed.
