Acceptance of Terms

By using the Scout & Aerial website, submitting a booking request, requesting an estimate, approving work, accepting deliverables, or paying an invoice, you agree to these terms.

If a written agreement or invoice conflicts with these terms, the more specific written agreement or invoice controls for that project.

Services Provided

Scout & Aerial provides real-estate-adjacent media, property documentation, aerial visuals, floor plan and measurement documentation, listing prep support, light field services, tech support, and marketing-support deliverables.

Scout & Aerial does not provide home inspections, appraisals, land surveys, engineering surveys, professional mapping services, architectural services, legal advice, tax advice, or real estate brokerage services through Scout & Aerial.

Booking, Estimates, and Pricing

Online estimates are based on the information entered by the customer and the pricing rules available at the time of booking. They are working estimates, not guaranteed final invoices.

The booking system reserves the selected appointment window and sends the appointment details into Scout & Aerial's calendar. The customer email and optional additional email may be added as calendar guests so Google sends the official event invitation.

Pricing may change if the address, route, acreage, square footage, service selection, access, conditions, timing, or scope changes. Scout & Aerial may decline, revise, reschedule, or cancel work when conditions make the request impractical, unsafe, unavailable, or outside scope.

Standard travel is estimated from Whitsett, NC. Lockbox and sign pickup/install is charged as a separate $50 service plus optimized round-trip route mileage at the current mileage rate, without the ordinary standard-service travel grace period.

Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing accurate contact information, access instructions, gate codes, listing access, lockbox instructions, safety concerns, appointment constraints, and any important site details.

The client is responsible for making the property reasonably ready for the requested work. Occupants, pets, locked areas, clutter, unsafe conditions, weather exposure, or access restrictions may limit or prevent completion.

The client is responsible for confirming that Scout & Aerial is allowed to access the site and perform the requested work.

Aerial Work

Aerial work is subject to weather, airspace, equipment limits, safe takeoff and landing, line-of-sight requirements, site access, property restrictions, and applicable FAA or local rules.

Scout & Aerial may reduce, postpone, substitute, or cancel aerial work when conditions are unsuitable. A booked aerial service does not guarantee that drone capture will be possible at the scheduled time.

Visual-Imaging Scope Notice

Stitched Aerial Site Overview and similar aerial site visuals are non-measurable visual-imaging products intended for marketing, general site visualization, documentation, and presentation.

These services do not constitute a boundary survey, land survey, engineering survey, topographic survey, professional mapping service, or measurable geospatial product. The delivered image does not establish or verify property lines, easements, acreage, elevations, dimensions, coordinates, distances, areas, volumes, or the position of improvements or other fixed objects.

The image is not prepared under the responsible charge of a North Carolina Professional Land Surveyor and must not be used for boundary determination, legal descriptions, construction, grading, drainage, engineering, permitting, navigation, site layout, excavation, development planning, or other purposes requiring measured or professionally certified geographic information.

Any visible property-line graphics are approximate marketing illustrations based on client-provided information or publicly available records. They are not measurements, are not guaranteed to match surveyed boundaries, and must not be relied upon to locate a boundary on the ground.

Professional surveying, measurable geospatial deliverables, certified accuracy, topographic information, coordinates, contours, elevations, or construction-related data require an appropriately licensed professional. Any such scope requires individual review and is not included in the public booking-page visual product.

Measurements and Floor Plans

Measurements and floor plans are prepared for marketing and listing-support purposes. Where applicable, Scout & Aerial follows NCREC rules and ANSI Z765-friendly measurement practices, but deliverables remain non-appraisal, non-survey, non-engineering, and non-permitting products.

Measurements may be affected by access, layout, obstructions, condition, safety, and available information. Clients, agents, lenders, appraisers, attorneys, tax professionals, permitting officials, and other professionals should independently verify any figures needed for their own purposes.

Delivery, Revisions, and Payment

Deliverables are usually provided digitally. Delivery timing depends on scope, access, workload, review needs, and technical constraints.

Reasonable corrections may be requested when a deliverable does not match the ordered scope. Changes caused by client preference, changed instructions, additional requested work, unavailable access, or conditions outside Scout & Aerial's control may require additional charges.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon delivery or invoice. Late or unpaid invoices may pause future work or delivery access.

Limits of Responsibility

Scout & Aerial is not responsible for decisions made by clients, agents, buyers, sellers, contractors, lenders, appraisers, surveyors, attorneys, tax professionals, or other third parties based on marketing or documentation deliverables.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Scout & Aerial's liability for a project is limited to the amount paid for the specific service at issue. Scout & Aerial is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, lost-profit, lost-opportunity, or third-party damages.

These terms may be updated as services, tools, laws, and business operations change.
